Beltian White is the best beer I've ever had, no joke. It is light and refreshing like a Lager with a cloudy gold color like a Hefeweizen although I believe it is considered an Ale. I am hoping for their distribution to make it to California. It is best served extra cold with a slice of orange. I've had it countless times from the tap at Jaker's in Great Falls and miss it dearly.

We were introduced to Harvest Moon about 2003 and have ejoyed it whenever possible since then. We went to the brewery in 2005 and are hoping that with bottling, the beer will have a wider audience! We go places in Msla that have it on tap!

We were recently vacationing and visiting in Craig, Montana and tried your Pig's Ass Porter. Absolutely loved it! Later that evening, the bartender had pointed out a rep that worked for your company that was in the bar for eats/drinks and was trying to introduce us all to them as we loved your brew. It has been a long time since I have met such an idiot. He did not even turn around to acknowledge us when being introduced. Tried to ask how we could get set up in a with your brew in an establishment here in AZ with no avail. Great brew...Poor representation!

My wife and I were visiting Montana; we are from Western NY. I hoped to visit Harvest Moon while there. When we approached the brewery, it looked closed (like the hot springs in Norris that we drove 3 hours to get to!). I decided to walk up and peek in the window. Stan, the owner and brewmaster was inside. He opened the tasting room and took us for a tour of the operation. Very good IPA-type (almost IPA, but tuned down for the more delicate non-beer drinkers), and excellent Pigs Ass Porter. I drank it every night of vacation somewhere in Great Falls. Stan was wonderfull, and very friendly. Purchased $100 of souviners, but left my pint glasses behind. Maybe that's a reason to fly back? More porter..

Have made stopping in Belt a MUST on every annual trip back to Great Falls (hometown). Anxiously waiting the completion of bottling facility so I can bring a bunch back to Wisconsin (where they THINK they know beer). Last summer we carried back a couple growlers of Beltian White. Kept them on ice in the cooler and they travelled very well. Will be bringing them back in June for refills! I agree with previous posts that we sometimes have problems finding the tap room open. Might try calling ahead as one reviewer suggests.

The Beer is what makes the brewery great, and in my humble opinion Piggs Ass is one of the BEST. Drawback is its only available by Tap,Keg or Growler. Also I'm almost 200 miles from the brewery. And the local establishments here in Billings are dropping this beer from their selection citing reasons such as... "the young people dont like it" or "Its a seasonal beer" .. (hell, is Guinness seasonal???) or.."Its too dark for most peoples liking".. (Yah ! silly fag go drink a Zima with a Jollyrancher why dont ya!!) I passionately encourage all those who have relished this fine beer to stand up for Darkies (beer) Piggs Ass and request it at your local brewpubs!!!

You haven't tried beer from Montana unless you've indulged in a Beltian White (spelled to indicate it is from Belt, MT). Also an awesome porter. Usually available in fine alehouses statewide. Watch for Harvest Moon. Doesn't get much tastier!

I have discovered calling the brewery in advance supplies a far better opportunity of getting into the tap room. The Nut Brown is fantastic; The Beltian White is unbelievable. I'm not a fan of ambers, but the Montana Amber is far better than most.

By far my favorite brewpub in the state of MT!! My only complaint about the place is that the taproom is very seldom open (at least whenever I go through Belt). These guys know how beer is supposed to be made though!! The Beltian (although not a true Belgian ale) is probably the best beer I've ever tasted. And the Nut Brown puts Moose Drool to shame!! Very good keep up the good work!!

This past summer I was working in the Little Belt Mountains and staying in Great Falls, so this place was a perfect place to stop by at Happy Hour after a long days work. The Beltian White was calling my name after being in the sun all day. Great stuff!

While on a hunting trip to Montana I had your Pigs Eye Porter and really liked it. I live in between Boulder Colorado and Longmont Colorado which is in the Denver Colorado Metroplolitan area and would like to know how I can get Pigs Ass Porter in my area? If not avialable in my area, can you ship to me?

The Harvest Moon Nut Brown Ale is the single finest beer in the United States of America at this time. They should change the name of this beer to "Better than Sex Beer". Seriously. How much would it cost to ship a keg to Anchorage, Ak? I am originally from Stanford, MT, and I know this beer would make me feel closer to home.

I got to suck a Pigs Ass at Dodger stadium in Great Falls, MT. The best damn porter I have ever had. The Beltian White is good as well. The brewpub is pretty classy for Belt, but they didn't take credit cards as payment so I couldn't bring any Pigs Ass for my spouse to enjoy. A worthwhile off the beaten path stop.

We went here over Christmas and they had some really great Dixieland Jazz music being played by young adults. The beer was good, and Pig's Ass Porter was definitely a favorite. The food is mostly sandwiches and brats, but you can get some free popcorn and buy some peanuts very cheap. The people there were extremely nice and friendly.

I had a great experience with Harvest Moon just yesterday. I live in Bozeman, and the business partner of the brewer happened to be in the bar I was in, trying to talk them into carrying their Pig's Ass Porter. Conveniently, he had two kegs in the back of his pickup from which he was dispensing samples (hefty ones at that). It was absolutely fantastic. The body initially appeared to be lacking just on appearance, but not on mouthfeel. It was spectacular. And the plus of it truly is that Ruppert's Tap House will now be carrying it. Excellent decision.
